Manny Kremer
Manny was born in Israel and grew up in a small town on the shores of the Mediterranean, where he learned to sail. Soon after completing his army service, Manny joined the crew of ZoZo, a fifty foot ketch, on a two and a half week non-stop delivery to Corsica. On this passage he experienced his first good storm at sea and learned to use a sextant.
In Canada in 1987, Manny bought his first boat, Idra (a 23 foot sailboat with a hole in the hull) and began his long career in sailboat maintenance. Within two years he had renovated Idra, sold her and bought "Free Spirit", a Catalina 27. After a winter of renovating the interior, Manny and Robyn moved aboard Free Spirit. They spent many years in Canada sailing and living aboard Free Spirit on Lake Ontario. During these years, Manny worked with several renowned boat builders and restorers learning the trade. In 1993 they took a year off to sail Free Spirit to the Bahamas and back via the eastern seaboard of the United States. On their return, Manny was approached with enquiries for boat deliveries enabling him to mesh his technical skills with his sailing experience.
In 2000, back in Israel, this time in Eilat on the shores of the Red Sea, Manny bought Yofy, a Fortune 30 sailboat. Over the past 10 years Manny has done a complete refit of Yofy. The story of this refit is told on their blog. Aboard Yofy, Manny and Robyn have explored the upper reaches of the Red Sea. Manny has crewed and skippered several boat deliveries to and from the Red Sea.
Along the way Manny has studied the various fields necessary to obtain international qualifications and his licenses include: Electrician, Marine Mechanic, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Technician, as well as an Offshore Skippers License.
Today, Manny offers his boating skills to boat owners in the area providing technical service in boat electrical and alternative energy systems, refrigeration and air conditioning, project mentoring and boat deliveries.

Robyn Coulter
Robyn was born in Canada where her summers were spent on an island in the wilds of northern Ontario. There, she and her family lived without electricity or running water and all transportation was by water. During those summers, Robyn learned to sail, to paddle and to handle an outboard engine. The childhood roots of living close to the water and in harmony with nature provided a solid base for her future.
In her twenties, while working in Toronto Canada, Robyn took her first yoga class. She quickly found that even in a busy city, yoga could bring her the same balance and harmony that up until now she had only felt in nature. In 1978, Robyn left Canada to travel around the Mediterranean and met Manny in Greece. Their first "date" was spent exploring Zia Marina in Athens, where Manny outlined his dream of living on and cruising aboard a sailboat.
For the next years while they traveled and struggled to obtain enough funds to buy their first boat, Robyn practiced yoga. Her practice varied while she took whatever class was available ranging from Hatha Yoga to Kundalini, Iyengar and much later a little Ashtanga Yoga. In the mid eighties they moved to Canada, where their dream finally became a reality. Over the next years, Robyn improved her sailing skills and began to learn boat systems through the grunt work of one refit after another.
In 1988 Robyn's interest was pulled towards learning self defense techniques. She eventually trained to become an instructor for a women's self defense organization and found her place in community service work. Throughout these years she learned valuable tools for working with those who have survived violence and trauma.
In 1993 when they took a year off to sail Free Spirit, to the Bahamas and back, Robyn rediscovered her passion for a simple life at sea. In 2000 now living in Eilat Israel, Robyn and Manny bought Yofy, a Fortune 30 and shortly thereafter moved aboard. While actively helping Manny with Yofy's refit, Robyn also joined Manny on several yacht deliveries.
In 2001 a Sivananda Yoga Center was established in Eilat and in one fell swoop several aspects of Robyn's life came together. She immediately joined the center's open classes and returned to a daily yoga practice. In 2003 Robyn completed the Sivananda Teacher's Training and joined the staff at the Eilat Sivananda Yoga Center. For two years, from 2005 to 2007, Robyn managed the center and her regular teaching schedule expanded to include workshops and satsangs. Today she continues to teach through the center as well as in various locations in the area.
In her time off from teaching, Robyn and Manny have explored the upper reaches of the Red Sea in their sailboat "Yofy".
